Earned Value Management System Description Print
The Earned Value Management System Description documents the company’s earned value management system and is a generally accepted requirement for EVMS certification. The EVM System Description summarizes the relevant aspects of the company’s program management policies and procedures as they apply to the 32 Guidelines defined in the ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS Standard and describes the company’s approach to program organization, scheduling and budgeting, work authorization, accounting, indirect cost management, managerial analysis and corrective actions, change incorporation, material management  and subcontract management. Charter Performance works with the client to design and develop an Earned Value Management System Description that provides the roadmap needed to ensure the customer and the Defense Contract Management Agency (or other EVMS compliance organization) has a clear understanding of the company’s EVMS and its compliance to the EVMS standard.
