Managing projects is becoming increasingly more complex but with the proper tools, project managers can significantly influence a successful project outcome. In this class, students learn how to use Microsoft® Office Project to establish a comprehensive, networked, executable project schedule as a part of the overall project management plan.
Course OverviewMS Project: Mastering the Basics introduces the student to the concepts of project management using Microsoft® Office Project 2007. Students will learn how to create a project plan containing tasks, organize these tasks in a work breakdown structure containing task relationships, create and assign resources, and finalize the project into an executable project plan.
This course is designed for project managers and planners who are responsible for creating and modifying project plans, have an understanding of project management concepts, and plan to use Microsoft® Office Project as their project planning tool.
